Appear II is a truly systemic fungicide. Phosphites are recognized for fungicidal activity to control Pythium spp. by blocking the development of mycelium. Phosphites are foliar and root absorbed allowing for translocation up through the xylem and down through the phloem of the plant, supporting complete plant protection. They are rapidly absorbed through both leaves and roots, with uptake happening quicker in warm weather. Phosphites accumulate in the plant but can be removed through mowing, thus the are recommended to be re-applied as part of a programmed approach.

Application Information:

Begin preventative applications when conditions first favour disease development. Use the higher rate under severe disease conditions. 

Apply in 14 day intervals.
Do not apply more than 8 applications per season. 
Do not mow or irrigate treated areas until sprays have completely dried.

Mixing order: 

1. Fill the spray tank with ½ of the required volume of water.  
2. Add Appear II fungicide slowly to the tank and agitate by hydraulic or mechanical means.  
3. Continue to fill the tank with water to the desired volume while agitating.  
4. Continue agitation when applying. 

Use Restrictions:

• Do not graze animals on treated turf. Do not feed clippings from treated turf to livestock and poultry.
• Do not apply by air. 

Wear protective eyewear (goggles), long pants and long-sleeved shirt, waterproof gloves, shoes and socks during mixing, loading, application, clean-up and repair.
